Hello again readers,
Now that we are all well into the new year; any girl worth her heels and lace is searching for the ultimate valentines day ensemble, and I too long for a look to guide my style choices for the new year. I believe that look starts with the very popular distressed jean look. This is not a new style or trend by a long shot! I grew up during the nighties when poor people patented this look without effort. Now thanks to brands like Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle, and Aeropostale, we pay for the look and call this style the boyfriend jeans look.
Sequin Jeans
I fell in love with the sequin denim look as soon I stumbled upon them during a random search for a cute pair of sequin leggings. Unfortunately I seem to lean toward the more expensive of tastes. Every search yielded the worst result an e-shopper like myself could find: "out of Stock". Here are some of my top looks for sequin jeans.
<<< To the right : a video of a gorgeous pair of gold denim jeans that are unfortunately out of stock. Retail price was in the moderate range of $59 USD originally $119.

I wish I could buy this! I love the skinny jean fit. I would wear this with my Micheal Korrs heels! So much in love with this look!
My Distressed denim debacle
Umbrella Club LA
In my haste during the holiday season I also tried to purchase my very own combo nation of the sequin jean look with that boyfriend jean distressed vibe. I first found this pair of jeans completely by accident while browsing images in Google with the search term " distressed sequin jeans". The link took me to a once again "out of stock" conclusion.

"I had to have these jeans" I thought to myself. In pure desperation I once again turned to the internet and found umbrellaclubla.com. This should not be confused with the actual LA night club of the same name. (as I continue this story you will all come to better understand) I purchased them on sale from this vendor. When I did not hear or receive any reply two weeks later I began to worry. The vendor accepted Paypal so I thought they were legit. I emailed the vendor twice, once after the two weeks without a delivery or confirmation date, and the second was the week before Christmas. I got only one response during my whole 4 week wait:
"Its on its way, you will love it when it arrives,"was their response.
If you made it to the end of this story let me bring you to the resolution. I contacted Paypal and they reviewed my case and refunded the money after an additional week or two. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone! I hope that if you decide to order from this website that you keep in constant contact. This vendor does not give you confirmation of shipping or tracking information, which I feel is an absolute necessity in my neighborhood which is predominately urban.
