Spring closet cleaning! Tips on getting your closet cleaned for new stuff.

Comes a time in every artist life where you have to clean out your closet and make room for newer things.when I approach cleaning out my closet I think about "how long has it been since I used this outfit or will I use this outfit again." The answer to that is not always easy. some clothes I want to hold onto because they have a bit of sentimental value but eventually your closet - when it's small - gets too packed and you have to say goodbye to some things. Well my closet is practically microscopic but I finally to organize my closet to make room for my many new purchases over the year. I start with getting rid of clothes that are really mangled or badly stained, and outdated. I think that clothes do hold a spirit to them, which makes it hard to get rid of clothes sometimes.  Especially for me because I think I've become a bit of a collector of clothing. I phone in love with different textures and different styles of clothing. I've also falling in love with the different designers and the front looks that clothes give me.

In order to change the collector in me I i'm lost purge some of my closet in order to make room for the next great style. Spring wardrobe is all about the garden pattern pilot. Greens pinks roses rose buds flowers of all types fill my imagination and my wardrobe  this season. I am currently purging things that do not collaborate well with my new garden inspired collection. There for anything that may not click well with my new ideals I get rid of. I'm sure that you all exercise the same caution when going through your fashion closet. Or at least said like to think that you do. Here are some good practices when purging your closet.

1. Think vaguely about your current fashion buys. What have you been gravitating toward when you shop?
2. Think about filling the gaps in your wordrobe. If your lacking assesories to match maybe it's time to look through old assesories and figure out what works with the new you.
3. Remember that we grow older every year. This is not to mean don't dress youthful but age appreciate. Don't hold on to things that you've had since high school just to see if you still fit in them! Purge things that are dated and don't speak about the current you!
4. If you haven't fixed that dress or shirt in over a year, it may be time to get rid of it! I make this huge mistake every time I look in my closet. I see a small tear: I mean to fix it, and I never have the time or forget to do it. If you haven't fixed yet, make room for something similar to replace it.
5. If it looks too ratty or tacky let it go... Don't let old fashion choices hold you back!

These are just a couple of pointers for your spring cleaning. Remember to donate any usable old clothing to your local shelters and get back to your community. But anything that is too bad he definitely get rid of! Don't forget to think about shoes and accessories such as, rings, necklaces, and headbands, or hair assessories. when going through things to get rid of think about it as your wardrobe as a complete set from head to toe. Clothes are not the only things to purge during a wordrobe spring cleaning.

For the love of roses

Hello again readers,

I'm often approached with complements on my style choices. I believe that my style is derived from my experiences as I look through the styles presented to me in my local malls. I often see common trends from my window shopping. I often do not buy the first thing I see. When I go shopping I think about a particular color pallet or theme.

Sometimes I think about what my closet or style is lacking or missing. For example: currently my closet is full of prints of different prints or textures but I feel as though I lack solid colors, knits, and basics, ,especially the color black. However reevaluating my closet is one approach towards identifying my sense of style. I often take into account the color pallet or theme that I want to wear during a season. Last year I wore a lot of lace and vigorously sought out lace themes. This year I want to incorporate the lace from last year with the garden themes I've been experiencing this year.

My valentines out fit

"romantic rose" theme My Valentines outfit
Now that I have given you a taste of my general style choices, I would like to introduce you all to my valentine outfit!
For my out fit my boyfriend took me shopping for the first time in a long time now. He purchased the dress that I intend on wearing. I chose this dress because of its romantic color pallet of reds and pinks.  You might ask yourself why did I pair this outfit with mint green accent colors? Mint green happens to be one of those colors that I want to add to my style repertoire. I also happen to think that being too matchy can overwhelm any well planned out fit, so in order to break up the themes I chose my new fav mint green.

My outfit is composed of:

Rose dress #forever21
Mint shoes #modcloth
80's tape bag #monsoon
Mint flower necklace #charlotterouse
Forest Green tights #target
Hair HL530 "Kate", sensational #wig

I will pair this hair with my romantic rose dress. I am still thinking about this look with the mint bow. What do you all think? Tell me in a comment below
