mall fashions fall 2014

hello readers,

I have been a busy little bee looking for full-time employment in my local mall. During my exploits I realized several trends that are repeating in most all stores and fashion lines. Perhaps you all have realized this too. Fashion is after all a big merry go round of mixing and matching fashion trends. More forever 21 mix and match

Welcome back, 

today I am walking the mall looking for a job in another foever 21 find! I also purchased these blush pink pants on the forever21 website for $24.99, along with the other style finds from my last blog post. I am mix and matching this look with a foever 21 ruffled shirt I got last year at this time of year.

The faux fur belt is from Tj Maxx it was about 14.99$. I got the belt in June before the fall season to match my faux fur Michael Korrs heel sneaker shoes ( which I purchased for $140 on eBay in April of this year). Together the belt and shoes are a perfect combo despite having been purchased at different times in the year. Sometimes I find that it is best to wait in between purchases. I have derived this way of thinking because I normally have a meager wage but I like to look posh. Therefore I make calculated purchases at various quarters of the year.

I do a lot of wind shopping, and if I find that one piece that I must add to my collection I get it before someone else decides to steal my style! That was the impulse behinds the "80's hits " retro tape bag in bronze and silver. I originally saw this find in a "Acessorize" store in my local galleria mall for $44. I debated if I really wanted it and when I sold some things on eBay, I decided to put some funds aside for this great style find! I purchased it online at monsoon.com, and I do not regret this decision one bit! I have an attachment to metallics in my wardrobe accessories so this will be my little wallet pocket book, which I have one of. 

I love this look as much as I love this bag. In my opinion it's nice to have one or two nice statement pieces. How do you feel about my style choices. Let me know below. YouTube channel coming soon, until then have fun mixin your fashions!

I'm back again with another entry to my fashion escapades, but first a reason as to the absence between posts. I recently was a victim of a fire in my building. Luckily my property was not damaged, but the damages to the building have kept me from my wonderful closet and all that it contains. Without having access to my clothes I was unable to properly update nor have I been inspired to post. However here I am again with some exciting finds from one of my favorite fashion stores Forever 21.

I chose to shop online since I had sold some things on eBay recently. I found these cute /chic styles on a budget. I stuck with colors that I know I have in my wardrobe: powder pinks, golden brown,and a new addition to my closet navy blue. 

Today I am wearing one of five pieces I bought online. The top a pink leopard woven sweater $24.99. Perfect for this warm and breezy weather. I bought the sweater in a size small and the material is so soft to the touch and cozy against my skin. The material is pourus enough to let air in but warm enough. There also mimics the look of fur or angora.

The skirt is a size 26 mini skirt its colors are golden brown and navy blue $17.99 and I am also wearing navy blue shorts (spandex) $3.90. The skirt I find is very short and I have a little ghetto booty, so to prevent perverts from sneaking a peak at my panties I made sure to pair the skirt with the shorts. If you have more tush than the models in the magazines the mini can rise more than a little in the back. Also with the breezy weather this light fabric skirt will give rise to any strong gust. 

I re-hashed this outfit with my favorite pair or light pink converse sneakers. Now is the season for sneakers in my opinion just before your forced to adorn those tall winter boots and leg warmers. On a sunny 60-70 degree weather day like today it's a good idea to keep warm while looking too cute! I hope to hear what you think of my fashion choices below. What would you pair my picks with.
